Designing a Microgravity Propulsion System Using Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic Properties
Status: Completed
3rd Place Nationally – NASA Microgravity Challenge (2025)
Co-authored a nationally awarded research project focused on designing a paddle propulsion system that uses hydrophilic and hydrophobic surface properties to create movement in microgravity. Our solution earned 3rd place nationally and was selected for presentation at the NASA Student Research Conference in December 2025.
Leveraging AI as a Diagnostic Second Opinion in the Absence of Radiologists
Status: In Progress
Under Dr. Tim Duong, Albert Einstein Hospital
Currently co-authoring a research paper under Dr. Tim Duong, Vice President of Research at Albert Einstein Hospital. This study investigates how AI models can function as a reliable “second reader” in clinical environments where radiologists are unavailable. The paper explores model accuracy, diagnostic performance, and implications for underserved or resource-limited healthcare settings.
Independent Research on Bone Cancer Biomarkers
Status: Completed
Independent Project
Conducted an independent research project analyzing genetic datasets to identify potential biomarkers for early-stage bone cancer detection. This project involved data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to find correlations between genetic expressions and disease presence.
